BE PREPARED. . .
Leaders are to :
- give appropriate supervision (especially near water or other hazards);
- have emergency plans and health numbers on site;
- have a back-up adult for questions, directions, control and emergencies; and
- assist organizers where possible.

- Crests may be purchased through GTC Scout Shop.
In many cases, the City of Toronto and Toronto & Region Conservation Authority will supply equipment.
However, SCOUTS should always - BE PREPARED, so :
- bring your own equipment if you have it (spades, buckets, watering cans, etc.,)
- Work gloves should be considered if handling shrubs, fencing, clearing deadwood, etc., and
- Sturdy footwear for digging (not running shoes).
- WEAR APPROPRIATE CLOTHING FOR WEATHER CONDITIONS :
- - snow (wear boots);
- - sleet and rain (rainwear);
- - gales (warm clothes);
- - mud and wet conditions (wear sturdy rainproof footwear and rain gear);
- - shine (hats and suntan lotion).
Everything is a "GO" unless you are notified otherwise, or a "rain" date is listed.
